About the event

"We want a world in which school is a place where everyone involved develops one another - with equality and respect - and develops their potential, both the students and the teachers and the people in their working environment."- Vision of the network Sociocracy in Schools

School makes politics. Here, too, rules and agreements are needed on how to have a good day at school and how learning goals can be achieved. Get to know and apply in practice an effective alternative to common forms of decision-making, such as the majority principle.

The consent principle is a contemporary method for participatory decision-making processes.

Learn how you can use simple but effective processes to make school policy more democratic - even on a small scale:

• in the class council or conference session

• when planning school trips

• in elections for class representatives or student representatives, etc...

With the consent principle, the co-determination of all participants is made possible on an equal footing. The positive side effect: The class and the college community are strengthened. Appreciative communication and an active feedback culture are encouraged. The decisions become more sustainable. This possibility of co-determination increases co-responsibility.

Target group:The introduction is adapted to the challenges of school management, class teachers, teachers and student teachers.

Costs:75€ per person

Management:Lisa Praeg, BA and Mag. Anja Sagara Ritter (sociocratic consultants iA)

Registration closes on July 30th
